This picture summarises the collective input of the whole team. It’s the WEG “master plan”, a valuable tool for the organisation. |

Hélène Tottoli, layout planning manager for the WEG Organising Committee, is currently working on the riding surfaces for the competition grounds. It’s a factor of paramount importance as top-level horses are also athletes with the most delicate of legs – so handle with care! In 2014, don’t worry “they’ll be playing safe”! |

Paul-Vincent Marchand is logistics manager for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. A pivotal role, this position serves as a hub for all the different departments. Transport, accommodation, catering, taking care of the public as well as the participants… so many different sectors of activity for which he and his team are responsible. |

Friday 27 January: Fabien Grobon, managing director of the Normandie 2014 Organising Committee, attended the official launch of the Hippolia Foundation. It has been created to enhance and promote the development of research and educational programmes relating to equine health, well-being and performance.

The Normandie 2014 Organising Committee’s visit to the Fédération Equestre Internationale’s headquarters in Lausanne. This first working meeting was the occasion for each of the Organising Committee’s management teams to be introduced to their privileged interlocutors at the FEI and to define their future working relationship together.

A conference and debate dedicated to the project Territorial Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in 2014 in Normandytook place Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Caen Memorial. It was attended by over 300 people in the presence of Laurent Beauvais, President of Lower Normandy region and GIP JEM Normandie 2014, as well as public actors involved in the project. |
